By Roberta HellerBloomberg New York–February 03, 2019–(BUSINESS WIRE)–SteelDragon Appliances Inc., the world’s leading steel dragon appliance brand, today announced that it has completed the sale of its $4 and $5.50/Kwh steel dragon appliances to the United States Steel Corporation, for $4/KWH.
The SteelDragon appliances are manufactured at SteelDragon Appliance Company, Inc. (SCC), which is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri.
The company also manufactures steel appliances at its U.S. manufacturing facility, which is in New Castle, Pennsylvania.
In addition, the SteelDragon brand is available at select retail outlets worldwide, and the company’s brand is now available at major manufacturers including GE Appliances, Caterpillar Inc., Siemens AG, Johnson & Johnson and United Steelworkers International Union.
SteelDragon has been serving customers in the U.K. and U.N. market for nearly 50 years, and in 2019, it expanded its footprint in the United Kingdom with the introduction of the first-ever steel dragon electric kettle and kettle grill.
For its 2019 calendar year, the company reported net sales of $1.2 billion and $4 million in total revenues.
The company is also expanding its U., U.A.E. footprint.
Last year, it signed an agreement with GE to provide electric kettle, kettle grill and kettle heating products for use in their U.UK facilities.
